Fixtures - Week 5

  • Wales vs Italy - The Welsh really put it up to the French at the weekend. The opening exchanges were a spectacle of attacking rugby. However, it wasn’t meant to be and France capitalised on the Welsh cracks that appeared. I have no idea how this match will go.

  • Ireland vs Scotland - The Irish are still licking their wounds from a heartbreaking defeat against England last week. A high-tension and nail-biting affair to say the least. The aspirations of a Grand Slam are no more, but, given Scotland’s defeat to Italy, the Irish have this one.

  • France vs England - The England squad’s vigour and determination against the Irish was a real eye-opener. This previously written-off English side are proving their haters wrong and I really fancy them against a very lack-lustre French side.

  • Located in Pontcanna, Kin + Ilk is a great spot for ravenous rugby fans before a game.

  • They offer friendly Welsh service and use the best ingredients from local suppliers. Don't forget to try their exceptional coffee with your grub.

Pasture - High Street

  • A culinary delight nestled in the heart of Cardiff.

  • They boast a selection of exquisite meats and the team here seriously want to feed you. There is dry-aged Cotswold wagyu, ribeye, sirloin and porterhouse. Take your pick.
