Fast Facts About Cardiff to Know for Your Matchday
Cardiff only gained city status in 1904 and became the capital of Wales in 1955. It took over the capital position from Strata Florida Abbey.
Spillers Records is the oldest record store in the world and is located in the Morgan Arcade. It has been in business for over 125 years.
Cardiff is also known as the City of Arcades. The arcades are located in central Cardiff and home to over 100 independent stores.

Current URC Standings

Sitting amongst the bottom rung of the table in the URC, with a particularly sore loss against rivals Ospreys in recent games.
Players to keep an eye on the day include Josh Adams, Taulupe Faletau, Rey Lee-Lo and Corey Domachowski.

Located directly beside the Principality stadium and has been in use since 1881. The world’s first floodlit game was held here as Cardiff RFC beating the Barbarians 12-8.
It has capacity for 12,000 and tickets range from £23 to £30. This is what we like to see.
From Pontcanna, its only a 20-minute walk. However, you will likely find yourself grabbing a last minute bite to eat or “just one more” in one of the pubs below.

If you’re looking for a belter of a breakfast, lunch or pizza for dinner, Milkwood is a must.

I don’t know what the fascination is with having “Milk” in Cardiff restaurants, but it seems to be doing the trick.
A cracking, independent cafe producing food of an exceptional standard and treating customers like royalty.
