Whilst they claimed the Top 14 title during the 21/22 season, the side are now staring at the prospect of relegation. Montpellier will play the runner-up of the Pro D2 playoffs in order to secure their place in the top-flight.
Big-name transfers to the side next season include Abuladze from Exeter, Vunipola from Saracens, and Stuart Hogg after his early retirement from commentating.
