Marseille - Top 14 Final
Top 14 Final - Toulouse vs Bordeaux

The Sides to Play in Marseille
Toulouse - no surprise to see the colours of red and black in this year’s final. The side look to complete the double, having won the Champions Cup and coming in as favourites to win the Top 14 also.
Bordeaux - In my opinion, one of the most exciting sides to watch this season. Speedsters Penaud & Bielle-Biarrey on either wing and the absolute fridge of a man that is Tameifuna in the front row.

UBB narrowly lost out to Harlequins in Champions Cup Quarters and just beat Stade Francais in the semi’s so I anticipate another very close affair.
Despite Bordeaux's firepower, I don’t see them edging out Toulouse. Toulouse have won the competition a record 22 times, with Stade Francais second with 14, and Bordeaux are without Jalibert after they played him for 72 minutes against a rubbish Oyonnax side.
Best Area to Stay in Marseille & the Stadium
The Old “Vieux” Port - As the saying goes, “You are only young once, but you can stay immature indefinitely”. The Old Port offers a vibrant nightlife accommodating all age groups.

The final will be hosted at the Stade de Marseille (Orange Velodrome on Google Maps) which is only 20 minutes away from The Old Port.

Best Breakfast & Coffee in Marseille for Before and After the Match
Boulangerie Aixoise - Opera
France is littered with immense bakeries and this spot was part of my daily routine whilst in Marseille.
Very traditional but high-quality pastries, breads and desserts. Accompany these with a coffee in here and you’re off to a great start.
Another recommendation is Patisserie Saint Victor. Unreal pre-prepared baguettes stuffed to the gills.
Deïa Coffee - Rue Saint-Saëns
No reservations but plenty of your staples when it comes to brunch. Located just off of The Port, stroll in here for some wholesomeness and reliable breakfast items with your friends.
Other recommendation
Pain Pan! - A chef’s favourite in Marseille. Incredibly popular so get here early to guarantee your chance of tasting greatness in dough and butter form.
Is your destination not covered?
Heading on a stag, hen or venturing on an away day? You probably encounter the following:
Your friends leave everything until last minute.
They rely on one person to pick what the entire group is doing and where you are going.
If a place is rubbish, your friends turn to you and never let you forget that woefully bad place you took them.
Well, look no further. If you want an itinerary that is based on prior groups’ memorable experiences and local recommendations, just reply to this email.
