Current Premiership Standings

Following their return to the Premiership in 2018 and rebrand from Bristol Rugby to the Bristol Bears (to make them a bit more fierce), the side has come on leaps and bounds.
They have managed to attract a number of big-name players to the club since promotion and are seeing the results. This is expounded by their recent Challenge Cup victory last year. The club’s first major honour since 1983.
Players to keep an eye on the day include outhalf Calum Sheedy alongside French and English internationals Genge and Vakatawa

Best Area to Stay in Bristol & the Stadium
Clifton
An upmarket neighbourhood located just west of the city centre. You will find a plethora of pubs and bustling restaurants in the area with access to the city whenever you choose.
You can occupy yourself on the days before the match with visits to the Brunel’s SS Great Britain or the Banksy Walking Tour

A dual-use stadium that facilitates both Bristol City football and The Bears rugby team. It also has the capacity for 27,000 arses in seats.
From Harbourside, the stadium is only 2.5 kilometres away. You’ll have people in the group who wouldn’t dare walk that distance to a stadium and others who wish it was longer so they can get their step count up. It’s only 10 minutes via a taxi and 15-20 minutes if you can work the bus.

Burra - Lower Redland Road
Burra is owned by two Bears (as in players not actual bears), in Jake Heenan and Luke Morahan.
Awarded “Café of the Year” in the Bristol Life Awards and a firm favourite of Bristol scrumhalf Kieran Marmion when he gave us his recommendations for Bristol.
The lads are obtaining the best and freshest ingredients that are prepared on-site to feed your hungry gobs. Even better to see this initiative from players in the local club.
Sandwich Sandwich - Clifton
“The Best Sandwiches in the UK” and Uber Eats “Restaurant of the Year 2023”.
You’ll only need to take one look at these behemoths to agree with the above statements and awards. Starting from humble beginnings as an independent sandwich shop in Bristol to now being one of the most synonymous sandwich shops in the entirety of the UK.
